Our Orthodox Tradition
The Divine Liturgy is celebrated on the third Sunday of every month. The service used is the Divine Liturgy of St John Chrysostom (of St Basil the Great, during Lent), sung mainly in English with some prayers in Greek, Church Slavonic and Romanian. The Community is part of the worldwide Orthodox Church, belonging to the Deanery within the Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople. Our local members represent a diversity of backgrounds, including British, American, Cypriot, Georgian, Greek, Romanian, Russian and Ukrainian.
Visiting Us
Members of all Christian communities are most welcome to attend our services and to join us afterwards for a bring-and-share lunch.
